By Harley Wyatt – Pay Per Head Agent News
I see the advertisements everywhere on the internet these days. “Cheapest Pay Per Head Service” or “Lowest Pay Per Head Price Guaranteed”, cheapest lowest price and free PPH service to boot. The problem with offering a low price for Pay Per Head Services is not the problem, it is the attitude of the PPH Service providers who do so. Allow me to explain.
Do you remember that white plastic patio set you bought at Walmart that looked like it would be the perfect solution to hosting a great backyard BBQ for your friends and family? You couldn’t believe the insane price you were getting on 6 arm chairs, a table and umbrella. Do you remember what happened to that “awesome” patio unit after one or 2 uses? Those piece of shit chairs were the first to go. Sure they looked solid enough when you saw them in the store but after getting them home the doubt started to creep in. Your worst fears were realized when “Uncle Joe” who weighs in at 190lbs, not slim but certainly not obese, went tumbling with a full plate of ribs when he sat down and the chairs legs spread open like a cheerleader’s at prom and snapped off.
For a brief moment you were patting yourself on the back for paying so little for something that would provide so much utility to you and your loved ones. The problem was that once you started using your cheap shit patio furniture it was exposed as being totally unreliable and broke. You played yourself. You should have known better but you couldn’t resist. Now that crap is a distant bad memory. You threw it in the trash and swore to never skimp on BBQ and patio accessories ever again. Lesson learned!
Or was it? Are you about to do the exact same thing again by getting sucked into some cheap shit Pay Per Head office that is offering you a price too good to be true? If you are tempted by paying as little as possible for your PPH this year I got bad news for you. It is not going to end well for you and your bookmaking business is going to look like Uncle Joe’s ribs spilled everywhere all over again.
However, there is hope. If you follow a few simple guidelines for setting a Pay Per Head Sports Betting service account you may be able to get the best of both worlds. That would be #1 – Getting the best service you can that is reliable, and #2 – Paying a fair price, which might not be the cheapest PPH price but one that you can live with and won’t end up costing you even more in the long run.
The old sayings are the best sayings and with Sports Betting Software providers it’s no different. If it’s too good to be true than it probably is and in the end you get what you pay for. Stay tuned for tips for agents setting up a Pay Per Head account.
